This is Cameron; he is an African lion that was rescued in the summer of 2004. These puzzles feature Cameron playing with a toy. Big cats are not meant to live in captivity. They should be roaring large areas in the wild, hunting, and doing the things big cats do. Captivity is very boring for big cats, so giving them different things to play with or to catch their interest gives them some relief from that boredom. This is called "Enrichment". Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, Florida feels regular enrichment is extremely important and works very hard to provide each cat enrichment on a regular basis.
