How To Play Big Cat "Go Fish":
- Shuffle the deck of cards. (You should have four cards of each picture)
- Deal 5 cards, face down, for each player.
- Place the rest of the deck, face down, in a stack in the center of the table.
- Each player should hold their cards so that none of the other players can see them.
- All players should put down, face up, in front of themselves, all the matching pairs in their hand. This should be done before anyone takes a turn.
- The youngest player goes first.
- Take turns going clockwise around the table.
- The player whose turn it is, should ask any one of the other players, "Do you have a ______?" If that player has the card they need to give it to the player who asked.
- If that player does not have the card that was asked for, he/she should say, "Go Fish".
- The player asking should draw one card off the stack.
- If the card drawn makes a pair the player should lay the pair down. If the drawn card does not make a match they should just hold the drawn card in their hand with their other non-matching cards.
- It is now the next player's turn.
Keep taking turns doing this until all the cards in the stack are gone or until one player runs out of cards. If the stack is gone and all of the players still have cards they should just keep taking turns asking other players for a card until one player runs out of cards.
When one player runs out of cards the game is over.
The player with the most pairs wins the game.
